Joe Scarborough - the funniest guy on morning TV

I get my political humor from Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert, but lately, more and more is coming from Morning Joe. Today, he spent a LOT of time and energy trying to portray Rahm Emmanuel's thoughtful deliberations about potentially accepting a Cabinet post as a huge political gaffe on the part of Barack Obama? Uh, what?

Most people understand that political service takes a huge toll on the family. Joe acknowledged this. I'm not sure why Rahm's comments got Joe all excited; maybe it's because Joe admitted that he'd had exactly the same considerations privately, but chose to lie publicly, twice no less, when asked by the media whether or not he would take or remain in public office.

I guess Joe is angry because Rahm didn't lie. Oh, well. I'm sure Joe will have plenty of opportunity to lie in his new job at Faux News. *fingers crossed*
