Rhetoric Rhebuttal

Rhetoric: "President Obama will be tested in the first six months of his presidency."
Rhebuttal: Maybe. It's very possible. And even if he is tested, I'm guaranteed to prefer his response to that test over that of John M*Same. I did not like the response of GWB to his test.

Rhetoric: "President Obama has said he will talk with world leaders without pre-conditions."
Rhebuttal: So what? When did the Republicans outlaw talking? Has Republican elitism and imperialism grown so massive that a person can be rebuked just for talking? Give me a break.

Rhetoric: "Barack Obama wants to re-distribute the wealth."
Rhebuttal: Funny, the only ones who are bitching about this are the 2% of the population who have the wealth. But hey, maybe they're right. Let's not create opportunity and hope for the ones who are struggling the most. Let's not make a society that isn't shredded by socioeconomic class warfare. Let's apply one of the most famous economic theories, well-tested by time: Let them eat cake.
