I dunno. I'm kinda hoping she'll stay around for a while. There are incredible parallels, with the sides reversed, between the 1980 election and the 2008 one--in both you had a new president exuding optimism (Reagan: "it's morning in America" Obama: "change has come to America") with his supporters saying they're proud of their country again (or, in this case, in many cases for the first time), while the opposition party's really unable to respond with much other than relentless negativity. Sarah Palin, I think would be a wonderful choice for the Walter Mondale of the Republican party (with, perhaps, Bobby Jindal following as the Republicans' Mike Dukakis in 2016).....
Alright, this comment is already at least ten times the length of your post...but, still, I'll send out my hope that you'll be posting again soon....I mean, what else are ya gonna do in Western NY in December?
